Pho Vietnam in Ottawa

Love this place! Always a wonderful little spot for a steaming bowl of hot pho on a cold winter day. They've recently renovated, painted the walls and swapped out the lights for more atmospheric lighting which makes the experience 4782% better.

The place is quiet and great for a nice lunch or mid-afternoon meal. The service is different: they bring the menu and the meal invoice for you to fill out. However, they also bring nice, hot tea. The choices on the menu are varied and authentic, for the most part. Pho soup was excellen, warm and well-prepared. I'm quite satisfied with the quality of the food. The location is a bit strange, but I would definitely go back.

Been there so many time, Never been disappointed. Always fresh noodle and meat. Warm pho soup. Cant go wrong. Best pho in the sector.

Pretty decent Pho, folks. Got my heart broken here, hence the loss of one star. Deal with it.

Great restaurant. The server was attentive and professional. I ordered the vermicelli with beef and it was amazing. Great portion but also the marinade on the beef was very evident in taste. Not to mention that we didn't wait long for our order.

Fast service and very good Pho. Parking essentially right outside the restaurant. Nothing fancy here.

I had Pho and it tasted good. But it was small portion like half of what you would get at other pho places. Too expensive for the atmosphere.

Food was good. Server was...lacking in hospitality (to put it nicely), ...but he was nice to my kids so I didn't get too annoyed.

Seems to have changed ownership. Sadly quality isn't as good. Portions are smaller, the flavor isn't as good and the prices are higher. It's ok but nowhere near as good as it once was. Pretty basic. Had the Vermicelli with chicken and spring rolls. Have been going here for years for this same order, used to be excellent... Now just Ok at best. Big drop in quality.

Taste good, good price, just a bit hard to go because the plaza traffic exits are tricky to access.

Decent food. It’s keats not that busy here but the food comes out fresh and quick. Love their bun bo hue. Pho is substantial and rice plate is good with the seasonings of the chicken and pork. Clean and convenient place!

Ordered a pork and shrimp Pho bowl. I was disappointed only three shrimp were added, but they made up for it with ample amounts of pork. I've eaten in the restaurant before, decided to take this one to go. When I got around to eating it, the broth was normal - flavourless chicken stock; The noodles, pork, and shrimp in a separate container, all gelled together. The rice noodles are hard as rock, and un-edible; Even after tossing it in the broth and re-heating it; If you want to compare your taste buds, you should try the one on the corner of bank and hunt club 'Pho Mi Bo Ga'It really puts this place to shame.

I go here everyday for lunch. The servings are very generous, the prices are low, and the quality is superb. The staff are very friendly and there's ample parking spaces!

Tried this restaurant for the first time during the pandemic. We both ordered vermicelli and spring rolls - the food was delicious! We look forward to visiting Pho Vietnam once everything reopens!

The service is always quick and friendly. The food is delicious. I've been coming since they opened and have never been disappointed. Once of the best places to eat Vietnamese. They've recently performed some renovations and it really brightened up the place. Tip: try the wonton.

The food was good, however the serving size for a large was small especially for the higher then average price just over 16$. A 12$ charge seems more appropriate for the amount of food considering the noodle container was half full.

Got a standard bowl of pho, nothing special about it.

Really great food!

Probably some of the worst Vietnamese food I've ever had. I ordered a rice plate with beef and shrimp. The shrimp were likely cooked well in advance and very dry. The beef was paper thin and straight and almost looked like tandoori meat. The fish sauce was incredible but overall the meal was weak and I was very disappointed. The menu also showed a small bowl of soup that often accompanies the rice dish. It never came with the meal and when I asked they said it was not included. The service was very poor as well.

The food is good for a reasonable price. Fast service. Would recommend for a quick and tasty lunch!

Best pho in the city. Even the won ton soup is crazy good. Wish I was in that area more often.

It was a nice quiet place for lunch. Smelled amazing when we walked in. The pho and apps were delicious. Location isn't the best but I'd visit again if I'm in the mood for Pho.

Delicious food, for a decent price! Coffee is splended! The atmosphere is lovely and welcoming. Could use some more comfortable seats but when you're eating it becomes an afterthought with how yummy the food is☆♡

Thought to try this place while visiting Ottawa. In comparison to the US, the food here is very different and lacking on taste and spices. It was like eating dried beef jerky and hard rice. I'm giving it 4 stars because the owner was friendly and they did provide fast service.

I usually order small size in other pho restaurant. And it’s full enough for me.That time I ordered a midium size pho, but I was still hurgry after I had it.

I was scared to visit because there were new owners, but they definitely wowed me! They really cleaned up the place and the food is as good as ever!

One of the better broths in this area, but some of the worst manners. I've been here twice and both times I was treated in the same fashion. We were refused a digestif the first time. Dictated where we sat second time around. A rather brute server lacking english, costumer greeting and etiquette. The pho is good, other things just okay. Rice wraps and spring rolls are half the regular size.

Just got the best wonton soup I've ever had. Amazing dish and amazing staff. Must try for sure, especially in this cold weather.

I just went at that place at 8:30 pm ... they were closed! (whereas the sign says they’re closing at 9pm)I basically drove 1h for nothing. A real lack of respect for the customers. 👎👎👎

I had the medium Pho and the shrimp spring rolls. Good pho but not great. Portion was massive. Price was on the expensive side.

I came here for the pho, and I wasn't disappointed.Really nice flavours from the soup dishes. The springs rolls isn't much to be impressed about (it was just shrimp wrapped in fried spring roll pastry wrappers). (If I come back to this restaurant again, I'll have more info on the location).
